The Faroe Islands
The Faroe Islands is a rugged archipelago in the North Atlantic with endless of opportunities for landscape photographers. Located between Norway and Iceland, it’s prone for rough and often unwelcoming weather systems, which is exactly what I love about this region.
With it's dramatic weather and constantly changing light, one can experience 4 seasons in one hour. It’s these rough elements that makes the Faroe Islands such an exciting place to photograph as you’re constantly faced with challenges such as heavy rain and gale force winds.
The islands are filled with amazing waterfalls, stunning fjords and an epic coastline with rough oceans. This gallery features my most memorable moments from my visits to this picturesque archipelago.
