Camera Bodies

Nikon z7

The Nikon Z7 is my main camera and what I use most of the time. It’s lightweight and produces high-quality files. Perfect for both long hikes and short drives.

Nikon D750

The Nikon D750 has been my backup camera and is still one I use for various projects, such as night photography. It’s a great camera.

Lenses

Nikkor Z 14-30mm f/4

My main wide-angle lens that goes with the Nikon Z7. Razor sharp and high-quality lens. Might be replaced with the f/2.8 model, though the weight is good for hiking.

Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8

An ultra-sharp wide-angle lens that I primarily use for night photography. Also, a perfect lens when you need to go a little wider.

Nikkor Z 24-70mm f/4

A great medium-range lens that’s lightweight and extremely sharp.

Tamron 100-400mm f/4-6.3

A solid telezoom lens that’s amongst the sharpest in this price range. I went with an f/4 rather than a more expensive f/2.8 as I rarely need the wider aperture for the type of work I do.

Tripod & Tripod Head

FotoPro TL-84C GEP

I’ve been collaborating with FotoPro since 2019 and have been using the TL-84C as my main tripod since. It’s heavy-duty and works well in all type of weather conditions.

Sirui T-1204XL

Sirui T-1204XL

This is my ultra-light-weight tripod which I mainly use for longer hikes when weight is essential. It’s also an option when traveling to places where I don’t need a particularly sturdy tripod.

FotoPro TL-84C GEP

A heavy-duty tripod head that’s used for my FotoPro TL-84C GEP tripod. It’s easy to use even in freezing cold climates.

Drone

DJI Mavic Pro

After crashing and losing a Mavic Pro 2 I’m currently using my older Mavic Pro for my aerial photography. Will be upgrading to a newer version, though I love the vertical function only found in this version.

Camera Backpack

NYA-EVO Fjord 60-C

I had the pleasure of partnering with NYA-EVO in early 2020 and have used the Fjord 60-C ever since. This is my go-to backpack for everything but multi-day hikes. It’s spacious, comfortable, durable, and weather-resistant. Quite honestly, the best photo backpack I’ve had.

I own a variety of NiSi Filters including: 6 Stop 150mm, 10 Stop 100mm, Reverse Graduated ND Filter, Soft GND Filter, Natural Night Filter, Horizon Filter.

NiSi 14-24mm Holder

A filter holder that fits my Nikon 14-24mm. This system is slightly bigger and the filters for it are 150mm.
