A limited selection of my photography is now available as NFTs. This is an exciting and quickly growing space that I’m committed to being part of for years to come. There are only a select few images that are available but more images will be minted in the near future. I aim to keep only a limited selection of available images at the time but have planned multiple mini-collections and editions of ones for when available work is limited.

Imagine a place where the sun doesn't rise during winter and doesn't set during summer. A place where the night sky is dominated by explosions of green, red, and purple. A place where jagged mountains and angry oceans meet. A place where the weather is unforgiving. A place of beauty, peace, and solitude.

That place is the Lofoten Islands. A place that I’ve had the pleasure of visiting and residing in for the past 5 years. This collection contains 25 of my favorite images from this period.

Tales of the Arctic Night - Collection on Sloika

I still remember the first time I witnessed the Northern Lights. It was an unexplainable sensation where all I could do was shout out in pure excitement. I’ve since located North of the Arctic Circle where I’ve had the pleasure to witness hundreds of incredible displays in the night sky.

That initial excitement is still there. You can’t help but smile and stare mesmerized as the sky turns green and various shapes and patterns spread in all directions.

But it wasn’t until late 2020 that I connected with the Northern Lights at a deeper level. It was when everything was at the darkest that the Northern Lights became a symbol of hope. A light in the dark.

Staring up at the Aurora has a meditative effect. It’s healing. I found that no matter what I was dealing with, it didn’t matter once the Northern Lights began. It became symbolic.

A very limited selection of images is available for sale on the NFT Marketplace Foundation. This is a curated platform that operates on an invite-only basis for artists. Each image is an edition of 1 and comes with an included print to the primary collector (if desired). There’s currently only 1 image available.

The “Roadmap”

Personally, I don’t believe roadmaps should be necessary for photographers. It’s my passion to keep creating that’s my roadmap. I’ve been photographing for 15 years, full-time since 2017, and am still as hungry as I was when beginning. My goal as a photographer is to bring nature closer to people. To make you realize how lucky we are to live on such a beautiful planet. I’ve always been here for the long term. That won’t change.
